A week after Jenelle Evans turned herself in to the Myrtle Beach Police Department to face her arrest on criminal domestic violence charges following a blowout fight with ex-fiance Nathan Griffith, the Teen Mom 2 star is in the clear.
"The charges against her were dropped," a source close to the 23-year-old exclusively tells RadarOnline.com.
In the police report first obtained by RadarOnline.com, Griffith accused his former girlfriend of scratching and attempting to choke him during the May 27 incident.
He also claimed that recovering addict Evans smelled of alcohol when she showed up unannounced to his apartment.
Evans' attorney Amy Lawrence later told RadarOnline.com that despite Griffith reporting the fight to authorities, he was "cooperating to have the charges dismissed" against the mother of his son, 10-month-old Kaiser.
This was the second time the two had allegedly brawled this year.
Shortly before the couple split up for good, Griffith was charged with physical assault following a March 2015 scuffle at their home. (The charges were later dropped.)
Now, Evans is focusing on getting her life back on track.
"She is focusing on school," the source insists. "She is focusing on graduating and the new season of Teen Mom 2 coming back on."
As for her relationship with Griffith, "Jenelle and Nathan don't talk anymore," the source reveals. "They just talk for the sake of their child."
"Jenelle is focused on being a good provider for Kaiser," the source concludes, adding that the outspoken Tweeter will be staying off social media.
