Leah Messer's lies are quickly unraveling.

The West Virginia couple's split is still pending, and the papers were never withdrawn, the clerk adds.

The marriage woes began in October, when Calvert publicly accused his wife of cheating with an ex-boyfriend. Less than two months later, RadarOnline.com revealed that the pipeline engineer was attempting to arrange an overnight tryst with sexy single mom Brittany Musick, 27.

Calvert told Musick he was single. Looks like he wasn't lying— Messer was!
