On The Attack! Jessica Simpson 'In Complete Denial' & Fighting Mad After Intervention Fails

An intervention that was supposed to force into rehab quickly backfired on her worried loved ones.
"Jess is in complete denial right now. Instead of listening to their warnings, she's made it clear that if anyone mentions her 'problem' again, they'll be cut off," a source close to the 34-year-old star claims to In Touch.
"No one knows what to do because they want her to get help but they need her," alleges the source, noting that Simpson helps support both her parents, Joe, 57, and Tina, 55, as well as her little sister Ashlee, 30.

"So for now, everyone is walking on pins and needles."
As RadarOnline.com recently reported, Simpson is said to be taking the stimulant drug Adderall to help her lose weight — and she's been hitting the booze hard lately, too.
"It's gotten out of control," an insider said.
