Sofia Vergara is a modern woman — and she has zero problem calling the shots on exactly how her wedding to Joe Manganiello goes down.
According to The National ENQUIRER, the 38-year-old True Blood hunk has been trying to push Vergara into a 'quickie spring wedding' — but she's not having it.
Although the couple were initially said to be planning a summer ceremony, a friend of the 42-year-old Modern Family bombshell tells the magazine, "Sofia isn't going to do anything that doesn't fit her schedule. She's telling Joe they can plan a late-fall wedding… at best."

Vergara's tumultuous relationship and , Nick Loeb, has reportedly made her hyper-focused on her career and maintaining her spot as the highest-paid actress on TV, raking in an estimated $37 million a year.
Luckily for the couple, who have been dating for less than a year, "one thing Joe has come around to seeing is that Sofia is a force of nature, and their wedding is going to be on her time, on her terms," the pal says.
