After fifteen years of marriage, Good Morning America's Lara Spencer announced this weekend she would be divorcing her husband David Haffenreffer. Now, only RadarOnline.com has the shocking reasons for the surprise split.

"The relationship really came apart when Lara was working for The Insider and they were living in Los Angeles," the source continued. "She was never home, and was always working."

"David has been the primary caregiver for their two children," Kate, 10, and Duff, 13, said the source. "And Lara was the primary breadwinner. Even though David comes from old money, Lara earned significantly more. She wore the pants in the relationship."

Meanwhile, "Lara has never gotten along with David's parents, and that also became a big issue," the source claimed.

In addition, "Lara's flirting just wore on the marriage as time went by," the insider said.

Over the weekend, the couple announced the split with a joint statement.

"After a lot of thought, care and consideration, we have decided to end our marriage," the couple told Page Six. "It's a sad decision that did not come easily, especially because we respect and love each other and our children."
