With her bad boy baby daddy Adam Lind's extensive rap sheet and their bitter custody battle, Teen Mom Chelsea Houska has plenty of drama in her life. But she refuses to involve her nice guy boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, in the on-camera chaos.
The MTV reality star, 23, has forbidden producers from setting up a meeting between Lind, 23, and DeBoer, 25, while filming Teen Mom 2's sixth season, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
“Chelsea made it clear that Adam and Cole were not going to hang out for a dramatic scene,” a family insider tells RadarOnline.com. “It would never happen in real life, so why force it?”
While the source admits the two men met briefly and exchanged pleasantries, Houska isn't interested in her 5-year-old daughter Aubree's father forming a friendship with her boyfriend of nearly a year.
“Adam is not a part of Chelsea's life, so it's not important,” the insider explains.

Fortunately, fans will be able to meet the handsome DeBoer, a traffic control specialist in Houska's native Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
“He has filmed once so far,” the source reveals. “There may be more opportunities in the future.”
While Houska and DeBoer's scenes will likely be lovey dovey, cameras will catch the tension between the cosmetologist mom and her troubled former love.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the two came face-to-face in court for their custody battle over adorable Aubree on March 23.
A judge shut down Lind's request for unsupervised visitation with Aubree after Houska took the stand to testify about the wayward construction worker's history of arrests and accusations of steroid abuse. (Lind has denied the allegations.)
The new season of Teen Mom 2 will kick off later this year, likely after the current season of Teen Mom OG wraps up.
