Brian Williams was the subject of a scary threat from a woman who contacted a government office in his hometown trying to find out his telephone number and home address.
RadarOnline.com has obtained the Jan. 19, 2012 police report that describes how a Massachusetts woman named Susan Sussman phoned the Registrar’s office in New Canaan, Connecticut. The employee she spoke with told police that Sussman said "she was upset that Brian Williams was doing an interview with Newt Gingrich’s ex wife on NBC News tonight."
She then stated, "They’re going to be sorry" if Williams, 55, went ahead with the interview.
However, police noted in the official incident report that Brian Ross of ABC News was the anchor set to talk with Gingrich, not Williams.
In the wake of the threatening call, police instructed officers to "periodically check the Williams’ residence."
