Social media users -- apparently unaware Monday's BET Awards broadcast was actually taped almost a month ago -- attacked Bobby Brown for his appearance on it.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the show was taped Jan. 24, a full week prior to the "On Our Own" singer's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face-down and unconscious in a bathtub in her suburban Atlanta home Jan. 31, which left her brain dead and surviving on life support.
But some rushed to judgment as the show aired Monday, complaining about the false idea that the R&B singer would attend a ceremony with his daughter fighting for her life.

The network eventually tried to smooth over the situation, sending well-wishes to the embattled "Every Little Step" singer while reminding followers that the event is "pre-taped."
Brown was also under fire on Twitter Monday from Bobbi Kristina's love interest Nick Gordon, who went on an extended rant aimed at the former New Edition singer, claiming he's primarily interested in money and fame.
