Bobby Brown has decided to keep his comatose daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown on life support "until the end of this week," and continue to "pray she survives."

A source close to the family tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that the family will hold out hope for Bobbi Kristina, who remains in a medically-induced coma more than two weeks after she was found unresponsive in her bathtub on the morning of Jan. 31.

The "Every Little Step" singer decided to set a timetable to remove her life support Friday after discussions with Whitney Houston's family, the source told Radar.

The former New Edition singer has struggled in the past weeks with discouraging reports from doctors about her chances for recovery, even moving her to a more advanced Atlanta hospital for treatment of brain injuries.

"We continue to request privacy in this matter," the "On Our Own" singer said in a statement issued through his lawyer Friday night. "We thank everyone that supports Bobbi Kristina and God is hearing our prayers."

Investigators in Roswell, Ga. continue to probe how the 21-year-old came to be unconscious in her tub that Saturday morning, and how long she wasn't breathing before CPR efforts began.

Nick Gordon, the boyfriend she proclaimed to be her husband, has been working quietly to get her father's permission to visit her at Emory Hospital, according to a source close to Gordon.
