Teresa Giudice is staying in touch with friends and family from behind bars. But RadarOnline.com has learned there are strict rules for anyone hoping to get in touch with her!

Insiders say that her husband, Joe, has been telling the reality starlet's pals to remain absolutely positive in all communications.

"Teresa has been emailing her parents, Joe, and only a select number of close friends," a source told RadarOnline.com.

Among the hot topics Teresa has been asking about is "the media coverage of her surrender to the prison,” according to the source. "Teresa wants to know what the reports have been saying."

“But Joe has told Teresa's friends to not say anything negative that could upset her,” the insider continues. "Remaining upbeat and positive is of the utmost importance. Otherwise, Teresa will only bring it up during the time on the phone with Joe."

That wasn’t the case in the hours before prison, as RadarOnline.com reported.

Giudice made a last-ditch late-night phone call to her estranged brother Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa, the night before she entered prison, according to a source — and instead of offering an apology or farewell, she tore them apart!

“Teresa called many people the night before she went to prison,” an insider previously told RadarOnline.com. “Two of the people she called happened to be Melissa and Joe. She was insistent that they were partially to blame for her jail sentence, because they came on the Real Housewives of New Jersey and made her look bad.”
