First Comes Baby, Then Comes Marriage! Pregnant ‘Teen Mom’ Star Maci Bookout Planning Late 2015 Engagement To Baby Daddy #2

Teen Mom Maci Bookout, who welcomed first son Bentley when she was just 16 years old, has never been traditional. So the MTV reality star, now 23, isn’t planning to tie the knot before she welcomes a second child, a baby girl, with boyfriend Taylor McKinney, 25.

“Before I got pregnant, we talked heavily about marriage— and we still do, but I don’t want to be a pregnant bride. That would be way too stressful!” she tells In Touch. “Plus, I want to be able to have fun at my wedding.”

Bookout says she plans to be engaged to her motocross racer baby daddy by late next year.

“Obviously, I wish we would have been married first, but everything will come together afterwards,” she explains.

Though she has come to terms with her unconventional road to wedded bliss, the series fan-favorite is concerned that her followers won’t be on board.

“I’m a bit apprehensive— I just hope people don’t judge,” she admits. “We are a little bit scared people might not be as supportive as we want them to be because we’re not married, but I hope they are.”

Luckily, her 6-year-old son is “beyond excited.”

“He’s already nicknamed the baby Bubby,” she says, though the little girl will likely be called June or Harley.

Bookout was previously engaged to Bentley’s father Ryan Edwards, 27, though they split soon after their son’s 2009 birth.

Fans will be able to watch the star prep for baby #2 on Teen Mom’s 5th season, scheduled to air in early 2015.
