Giada To Ex: What’s Mine Is Mine! De Laurentiis Insists She’s Keeping Her Stuff … But WILL Pay Support
Dec. 30 2014, Updated 8:12 p.m. ET
Giada De Laurentiis was quick to hit back after her husband’s divorce filing, filing her own response just moments after. From custody details to child support plans, RadarOnline.com has all the details of the developing situation.
Court documents filed Tuesday by De Laurentiis and obtained by RadarOnline.com state that she wants to keep her own possessions. According to the documents, she “believes she is possessed of separate property, the exact nature of which is unknown at this time.” De Laurentiis stated she will update her Response once that information is determined.
Like Thompson, De Laurentiis asked the court to award joint physical and legal custody. And although Thompson asked that he not be required to pay child support, De Laurentiis did not ask to be let off the hook for support payments.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Thompson filed for divorce Tuesday afternoon, one day after De Laurentiis announced the separation in a surprise Facebook post: “After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage,” the 44-year-old TV personality wrote. “Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths. Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything.”
