Motherhood Idol! Carrie Underwood Will Be A ‘Phenomenal Mother,’ Says Songwriter BFF Chantal Kreviazuk

Carrie Underwood and her NHL player husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting a baby boy this Spring and those close to the mommy-to-be are thrilled about the upcoming bundle-of-joy!

“Carrie is incredibly thoughtful and she is going to be an amazing, amazing fearless and fierce leader of a family,” singer/songwriter friend Chantal Kreviazuk tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“She is a very, very lovely world-class human being and I am sure she will be a phenomenal mother,” Kreviazuk, who has three sons with Our Lady Peace singer Raine Maida, tells Radar.

“Her talent really does keep me believing that if you are great and you work hard that there is some truth to all of this,” she adds.

“I raised my children to teach them to believe that there is art and there is entertainment. Art transforms us and entertainment distracts us,” Kreviazuk explains.

Kreviazuk, 40, has written hits for some of the biggest names in the industry, including “Play On” for Underwood’s album Unapologize, as well as numerous songs for artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Drake, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez.

Kreviazuk’s newest single, “I Will Be”, is now on ITunes in a partnership to raise awareness for Kids Help Phone.
