Amanda Bynes Is NOT Engaged: Friends Say New Claims Are Further Proof Of Her ‘Shaky’ Mental State

Despite telling In Touch magazine that she is set to wed her 19-year-old boyfriend, Caleb, it turns out that Amanda Bynes isn’t engaged at all! RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that this just isn’t the case!

Friends and family told RadarOnline.com that The Amanda Show star isn’t getting married at all to the teenager who reportedly works in a bait shop in Costa Mesa, Calif.

But a source tells RadarOnline.com, “She isn’t getting engaged. She’s delusional. This is just more proof of her shaky mental state."

In fact, now that she’s back in New York City, those closest to her are even more worried than usual about her state of mind, as the Big Apple was the center of many of her previous public meltdowns.

“Amanda’s brother, Tommy, and sister, Jillian are extremely concerned for her because she isn’t returning their phone calls or texts,” an insider previously told RadarOnline.com. “They fear for her safety and well-being, especially since Amanda is now in New York City. They’re afraid she’s going to die there.”

Bynes previously told In Touch that she was looking forward to getting married because she wants “to be away from people.”

“I am very needy for friendship and I hate men,” Bynes told the magazine. “I want to f--- them, but I can now say I’m engaged — get away from me.”

With a desire to be away from the masses, it’s odd the What a Girl Wants actress would choose such a massive city as her home, but she told In Touch that she prefers it to Los Angeles because she can walk and ride a bike.
