Actress Sharon Leal has been a very busy woman off-screen! The Dreamgirls beauty is about to debut her first solo album just prior to the release of her latest film, Addicted, with Tyson Beckford, Kat Graham, and Boris Kodjoe, on October 10.
Following in the footsteps of such actresses-turned-singers as Ariana Grande and Lucy Hale, Leal has been in the studio recording the album, which she has written all of the songs for, for months.

A close friend of Leal’s tells RadarOnline.com exclusively, “Sharon Leal’s first love has always been music. From Rent and Miss Saigon on Broadway, to Boston Public and Dreamgirls, she has always shown us that she has an amazing voice.”
So does this mean that Leal is done with acting?
Definitely not! “Sharon isn’t leaving acting,” her friend tells Radar. “This is just another vessel for her.”
