As one door closes, another begins for Sherri Shepherd: A surrogate mother initially earmarked for the TV personality, who leaves The View Friday, delivered a baby boy in Pennsylvania, with her estranged husband Lamar Sally present for the birth, according to online reports.

The 30 Rock star isn't claiming to be the boy's mother, saying Sally wasn't straight with her regarding the terms of the surrogacy, with intents  of suing her for child support.

Sally, who was happily on hand for the child's birth, is presumed to go after the TV star for support of the tot. Shepherd has a 9-year-old son named Jeffrey from her previous marriage to first husband Jeff Tarpley.

In related news, the Dancing with the Stars alum Tuesday said she'd nabbed the role of the wicked stepmother for the upcoming Douglas Carter Beane adaptation of Cinderella on Broadway, marking her debut on the Great White Way. Her start on the stage is slated for Sept. 9 at the Broadway Theatre.
