Britney Spears is disappointed in her body and "is talking every day about getting a total body makeover," RadarOnline.com has learned.

But don't look for the pop singer, 32, to get plastic surgery!

According to a longtime member of her business team, Spears thinks she's "desperately in need of a physical re-invention" through diet and exercise.

"Britney wants to get in much better shape because she hates the way she looks when she's on TV," the source said.

Spears was particularly upset about how she looked during her one season judging The X Factor in 2012, the source noted.

"She's still bugged by the body issues and now is determined to get as fit as an Olympic athlete."

The star, who is in the midst of a Las Vegas concert residency, also wants to get her sons, Sean, 8, and Jayden, 7, who love candy and junk food, "involved in some kind of daily exercise practice as well."

Although the source confirmed that Spears has turned down repeated offers from companies such as Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers to help her lose weight and then be a spokesperson, "Britney's turned them down so far while she plans to get in shape privately."

But her advisers are worried that Spears won't be able to achieve her goal. "She wants to become a 'fit mama', but there's some healthy skepticism on the part of her personal team that she can actually pull off what she's talking about," the source said.

"People would love to see her run in a marathon but does anybody think she can actually finish one? No."
