Three months after filing for divorce from cheating husband Mario, Ramona Singer has decided to halt the proceedings, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

The Real Housewives of New York City star, who accused Mario of choking her in a January domestic dispute, has agreed to go to marriage counseling in an attempt to save the relationship, a source reveals.

"Mario and Ramona have been having very long and thoughtful talks about the state of their marriage. It has been a very painful process for both," the insider explains. "But Ramona realizes how much she loves Mario. This will give them time to determine if there is enough love and most importantly, trust, to move forward."

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the Bravo celebrities were spotted out to dinner last Thursday in New York City.

“Ramona and Mario were holding hands and acting very affectionate towards each other,” an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. “There was a lot of laughter, and Ramona didn’t look like she had a care in the world. They appeared to be very much in love.”

The on-again, off-again couple previously reunited recently to spend quality time with their daughter Avery, who spent spring break at home in New York.

However, Ramona isn't prepared to "formally withdraw the divorce petition at this point," the source adds. "It definitely looks like it's headed in that direction, but she is being very smart about it."
