Too much fake drama? Less and less viewers are Keeping up with the Kardashians!
The first family of reality television premiered the ninth season of their once-mighty E! show on January 19, but as RadarOnline.com has learned, the ratings for the network’s cash cow were SIGNIFICANTLY down from the previous season premiere.
Indeed, last Sunday’s episode garnered only 2.56 million viewers, down almost half-a-million from the season eight ratings bonanza that premiered on June 2, 2013, pulling in 3.02 million viewers, according to ratings obtained by TV By the Numbers.
While the season eight premiere focused on Kim Karadashian and the news about her pregnancy and relationship with Kanye West, the season nine premiere focused on Kris and Bruce Jenner’s split as well as Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s marriage drama -- two negative stories that played out on RadarOnline.com long before they were edited for TV!
Fans were clearly turned off.
