Natural Death Or Murder? As Her Dad Claims She Was Poisoned, Take A Look At Brittany Murphy’s Death Scene
Nov. 18 2013, Published 3:45 p.m. ET
With Brittany Murphy's Dec. 20, 2009 death back in the news -- as her father has challenged the “natural causes" decree from the coroner -- we're taking a sad look back at our exclusive look inside the Clueless star's final home, via her widower Simon Monjack, who himself died just two months after the footage was taken.
In the clip -- shot March 20, 2010 on the three-month anniversary of Murphy's death at 32, and just prior to before Monjack's death on May 23 of that year -- an unshaven, grieving Monjack led us through the Hollywood Hills home he and the starlet lived in.
With a hangdog face, Monjack took our Amber Ryland for a tour through the cluttered bathroom the Clueless beauty collapsed to her death in.
"This is obviously the infamous bathroom no one has even cleaned out yet," Monjack told us, pointing out the spot in which she collapsed. "When the paramedics came in, they pulled her through here, into one of the closets and into the main room.
"You're the first people to ever see the infamous bathroom."
Later, Monjack showed us racks upon racks of fashions the beautiful actress would never again wear.
"Lots of Louis Vuitton and lots of Chanel, Gucci," he said, with a melancholy tone to his voice.

As we previously reported, Murphy's father Angelo Bertolotti told the Examiner he believes his daughter was fatally poisoned “by a third party perpetrator with likely criminal intent” incorporating the use of toxic substances.
“My daughter was neither anorexic nor a drug junkie, as they repeatedly implied. Brittany and Simon were ridiculed by The Hollywood Reporter, when they complained of being under surveillance and in fear for their lives," he said. "I will not rest until the truth about these tragic events is told. There will be justice for Brittany.”
