DMX Blames Arrest On Dodgy Cops: The Bags Of Weed Were Never Even Shown To Him, He Claims

DMX was arrested on Tuesday night in South Carolina after a car he was riding in was pulled over and cops found bags of marijuana in the vehicle, but the rapper exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that he never even saw the drugs they claim were in the car.

While in the passenger seat of the car with this two assistants, Shawn Durham and Shawn Rhodes, the car was pulled over for a minor traffic violation and when cops allegedly discovered weed in the floorboard, they slapped handcuff on DMX without ever showing him the drugs he claims.

"DMX was driving in the passenger seat when the vehicle he was in was pulled over last night. Although officers pulled them over for a minor traffic violation, DMX was asked to step outside so they can search the vehicle," the rapper's rep, Domenick Nati, told Radar.

"Officers then claimed that they found bags of marijuana in the floorboard and arrested X. No drugs were found on DMX or the other passengers and the alleged bags of marijuana were never shown to DMX or the other passengers."

Aside from the drugs found in the car, cops also noticed there was a warrant out for DMX stemming from a July arrest for DUI and driving without a license.

"DMX was released this morning at approximately 11 a.m. EST and is back at his home in South Carolina," the rep tells Radar.
