Kate Middleton, Prince William and their new baby appeared in front of the world on Tuesday afternoon in London and the royal parents said having their first child was “very emotional.”
Wearing a lovely light blue polka dot dress and carrying the Prince of Cambridge in her arms, Kate was smiling and waving to the crowd in front of St. Mary’s Hospital.
The little Prince was even waving his hands out of the blankets to the crowd!
“It’s very emotional,” Kate said to reporters after she handed the baby to daddy Prince William who was wearing a light blue shirt.
“Such a special time I think any parent would know what that feeling feels like,” she said sweetly to the crowd.
William told the crowd that the baby was late and he will “remind him of his tardiness when he’s a bit older. Hopefully you can all go back to normal now.”
The proud papa said his son “has got a good set of lungs,” and gushed that the little boy resembles Kate.

“He’s got her looks thankfully,” William said about the mother of his son.
He also joked about the baby’s hair, saying “He’s got way more than me, thank God.”
William also said that they are “still working on a name” for their son.
The royal baby was then put in a car seat and loaded him into a Range Rover with mummy Kate in the back seat watching over him and William driving them home to Kensington Palace.
