Cory Monteith's ashes will be spread across three cities -- Los Angeles, Vancouver and Victoria -- each, holding a special significance to the late actor, according to his cousin, Richard Monteith.
“I think Cory's mom wants to spread some of the ashes in the different places he loved," Richard told In Touch Weekly. "I think she wanted to cremate him so they could spread his ashes in LA, Vancouver, and Victoria and keep a little bit for the family.”
The talented singer spent extensive time in both of the British Columbia cities growing up, and found fame in LaLa Land as a member of Glee.
As we previously reported, Monteith, who played the role of Finn Hudson on the Fox hit, was found dead at 31 July 13 in a room at Vancouver, British Columbia's Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel. The British Columbia coroner's office subsequently confirmed the embattled actor's life ended as result of a toxic mix of of heroin and alcohol.
