Jenelle Evans was back in court on Monday morning and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive details about her latest run-in with the law.

The troubled Teen Mom has been charged with simple assault against her husband Courtland Rogers and she appeared in a North Carolina court with her attorney Dustin Sullivan to refute the charges.

Both Jenelle and Courtland were arrested on April 23 for possession of heroin when 12 bindles of the drug were found along with assault.

The court case was continued until July 25 her attorney exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

The grand jury has yet to announce their decision, but he previously told RadarOnline.com that he anticipates they will indict the MTV star on a felony and she could be facing up to two years in jail.

“If she is convicted the sentencing guidelines could be 25 months maximum,” Sullivan said.

Jenelle has insisted the drugs belonged to her husband Courtland.

He remains in jail on a $50,000 secure bond that he has been unable to pay because he was on probation when he was arrested.
