Not Sorry For The Snub! Tina Fey Brushes Off Taylor Swift’s Golden Globes Outrage, ‘It Was A Lighthearted Joke’
Amy Poehler may feel bad about snubbing Taylor Swift at the 2013 Golden Globes, but her cohost definitely doesn’t!
After the country starlet blasted back at the hosts to Vanity Fair, quoting Katie Couric, quoting Madeleine Albright, that “there is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women,” Tina Fey is ready to respond – but she isn’t quite so apologetic as her pal Poehler!
The 30 Rock star spoke to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, brushing off the 23-year-old’s comments and defending her comedic act.
“If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron,” she said. “I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke.”
“Aw, I feel bad if she was upset,” Poehler told The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday, right after the interview first surfaced.
"I am a feminist and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”
