There's even more drama than usual in the Big Apple right now as The Real Housewives of New York City await news on whether they will be filming a new season -- or getting the ax -- RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The stars, who just like their reality franchise counterparts in Beverly Hills, Orange County, Atlanta, Miami and New Jersey, thrive on white wine fueled fights and bitter bickering, have been nervously awaiting news of a filming start date for season six, and as time drags on their anxiety levels are increasing!
“None of the ladies have heard anything about when filming is going to start and they’re waiting to see what is going to happen,” a source close to the show tells RadarOnline.com.
Aviva Drescher, Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson and Sonja Morgan have all been chomping at the bit to get the show going again — and it just isn’t happening quickly enough for them!
“All of the women are getting antsy," the source says. "They want to start working again, even if it is just to fight with each other! These women love being on TV and they want to be in front of the cameras again.”

As The New York Daily News reported the cast is starting to feel “tortured” by Bravo as they sweat it out anxiously awaiting news — a sentiment backed-up by Radar's source.
“They all want to know when filming is going to start," the insider says. "They hope they’ll have answers soon!”
Meanwhile, as RadarOnline.com previously reported, both the Orange County and Beverly Hills shows are about to be seriously shaken up following news of a number of proposed cast member firings and hirings.
