The Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi Burruss is engaged, RadarOnline.com reports.
The 36-year-old singer/songwriter’s line producer beau Todd Tucker popped the question on one knee during a New Year’s celebration at the couple’s home, according to reports.
The pair, who appear on the current season of the Bravo series, first met filming the show’s fourth season in 2011.
“I was totally surprised,” Kandi told Us Weekly about the romantic proposal admitting a few tears were shed.
The happy couple have set aside two dates for their big day and are deliberating whether to have the wedding filmed for Real Housewives.
“"I used to make jokes with my friends that I was part of the Forever Single Club," she told Us, saying that she and Tucker plan to have children together after they're married. Burruss has a 11-year-old daughter Riley from a previous relationship.
Kandi, a Grammy Award winner, is famous for writing TLC’s hit No Scrubs, as well as Destiny Child’s Bills, Bills, Bills and Pink’s There you Go.
It’s also been reported that she will star in her own reality show, The Kandi Factory, where she tries to find the next big pop talent.
