Fashion Legend Vittorio Missoni Missing, Plane Disappears

Vittorio Missoni has been reported missing Saturday. The head of the fashion house that carries his name, along with his wife Maurizia Castiglioni, two friends and two crew members were on a plane that disappeared off the coast of Venezuela Friday morning.
The plane was scheduled for just a 100-mile trip, taking the two couples from the resort town of Los Roques to Caracas.
Missoni, the eldest son of Ottavio and Rosita Missioni, who founded the fashion label in 1953, is the marketing director at the company and in charge of the American and French affiliates of the Italian luxury brand.
Kate Middleton is a huge Missoni fan.
So are Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson andKyle Richards.
"The Missoni family has been informed by the Venezuelan consulate that Vittorio Missoni and his wife are missing, but we don't know any more," a spokesman for Missioni said in a statement.
