Former Olympiad Carly Patterson, who took home the gold medal for the women’s all-around gymnastics in the 2004 Games, wed Mark Caldwell Saturday.
The 24-year-old athlete tied the knot during a lavish ceremony in Dallas and said she chose the South as a setting because both she and her new husband are from Louisiana, according to People.
The couple exchanged vows in front of about 250 close friends and family and the bride wore a Vera Wang gown and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Patterson and management consultant Caldwell, 27, became engaged in January after dating for three years.
Congratulations!
