Tori Spelling had a frightening experience with her fourth pregnancy, and the situation was so dire she was afraid both she and her unborn child might lose their lives!
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star had a severe form of placenta previa during her fourth pregnancy and suffered massive bleeds during the difficult time, so severe “she risked a bleed catastrophic enough to force doctors to terminate her pregnancy and remove her entire uterus in an attempt to save her life,” Us magazine reported.
"It was surreal," Tori said. "I just remember thinking; I can't leave three children behind."
Tori and her husband Dean McDermott had three children, Liam, 5, Stella, 4, and Hattie, 12 months and she said during her strict bed rest she missed milestones in their lives, including Liam’s preschool graduation and Stella’s fourth birthday party.
The Craft Wars host said she tried to stay positive in the face of her health scare.
“I kept envisioning myself holding a healthy baby. That was my goal,” she said.
Tori gave birth to her son Finn after 37 weeks and said she was in love with him from the first minute.
“When they put him in my arms I was like, 'We made it. We did.’ Now we have an insane bond. We've been through hell and back," she said.
