A 40-year-old man will be sentenced Friday after he was convicted Thursday of misdemeanor trespassing and resisting arrest at the Los Angeles home of pop star Miley Cyrus last month, RadarOnline.com has learned.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jason Luis Rivera was arrested Sept. 8 at the singer's house with a pair of scissors in hand, police said, adding he'd heaved himself toward a wall of the home in a manner that made it appear he was trying to enter.
Rivera claimed to be personally acquainted with the enigmatic Hannah Montana star, telling police, "I am friends with Miley Cyrus. I am. She's my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years."
Cops had to use a taser gun to subdue the man when he refused to comply with their orders.
