Gisele Bundchen wasn’t always top dog in the supermodel world – a famous photographer has revealed “nobody wanted her” back in the day.
The Brazilian clotheshorse is the highest paid model in the world and the most recognizable face of Victoria’s Secret… but Mario Testino says that at the start of Gisele’s career the fashion pack were totally unimpressed with her.
Testino, said to be the most prolific magazine photographer on the planet, told British newspaper The Observer how he kick-started Gisele’s career: “Nobody liked her, nobody wanted her.
“I had to fight to get her into my stories because nobody thought she was right - too this, too that, the nose, the breasts, the waist.
“But I believe in being obsessed, in getting obsessed.”
Gisele, 32, has earned more than $250 million in the last 10 years and is tipped to become the world’s first billionaire supermodel.
She has topped countless “most beautiful” lists and the late designer Alexander McQueen gave her the nickname “The Body.”
When she dated Leonardo DiCaprio they were dubbed the most attractive couple in the world.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, 5'11" Gisele is expecting her second child with the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
After giving birth to her first child she caused a public outcry by telling Harpers Bazaar UK: "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."

Meanwhile Testino, 57, also spoke about how hard it was growing up in Peru as a boy who was interested in fashion.
“They screamed at me in the street: ‘f**got’, he said. “All my allowance went on taxi fares. I couldn't take public transport the way I dressed.”
Testino has shot some of the most famous faces in the world, including the late Princess Diana and Prince William and Kate Middleton.
