Ryan Seacrest Takes A Huge Loss On Sale Of Hollywood Hills Home

Ryan Seacrest has finally sold his Hollywood Hills home two years after first listing it.
The American Idol host paid $11.5 million when he purchased the estate from Kevin Costner in 2006. Assuming the standard six percent sales commission, Seacrest would have netted $10,340,00 off the sale, meaning a loss of $1,160,000. Ouch!
Even worse, the property went for $11 million, nearly $4 million less than the original asking price.
And what did his buyer get? The 10,000-square-foot villa has six bedrooms and six and a half baths, plus a gym, wine cellar and screening room.
There's a swimming pool -- of course -- and a tennis court.
Seacrest is moving on to a Beverly Hills compound he purchased from Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year for a cool $37.5 million.
