Being a TV cop has been very, very good to Mariska Hargitay.

The Law & Order: SVU star and her husband, Peter Hermann, have just plunked down $10.7 million for a townhome on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

Just 18 feet wide, the house has six stories with an elevator.

There are six bedrooms, a kitchen designed for entertaining and a formal dining room.

The master bedroom suite takes up one entire floor, and the top level has a giant sun room opening at each end to spacious terraces.
