Anton Yelchin has boldly gone into homeowner status.
The actor who plays Chekov in the new Star Trek movies with Chris Pine -- the next one's just wrapped and comes out in 2013 -- has forked over $945,000 for his first house.
It's a beautifully renovated 1940 gated country English-style one-story on a quarter acre with a swimming pool and spa.
There are three bedrooms and two and a half baths in 1,845 sq. ft. with vaulted ceilings, French doors and fireplaces in both the living and dining rooms.
