Rihanna & Chris Brown Secretly Hooking Up

Despite their storied -- and violent -- past, the magnetic attraction between R&B superstars Rihanna and Chris Brown continues.
The Barbadian beauty, 24, and Forever singer, 23, have been “seeing a lot of each other in private,” and even public appearances are slowly creeping in, an insider tells the NY Post.
Chris -- who infamously beat his then-girlfriend following a party in Hancock Park, California in February 2009 -- joined the Umbrella singer and her family to watch the Miami Heat defeat the Boston Celtics at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club this past Saturday. RiRi's cousins and grandfather Brathwaite rubbed elbows with Chris.
An insider told the Post: “Rihanna arrived first in a yellow cab, with her family and friends, and was escorted to a private room. Brown arrived a little later and joined her and her family. They sat on the same couch together rooting for the Heat. There was no sign of his girlfriend.”
While there were murmurs the two had gotten back together earlier this year, Brown, in public, seems attached to his stunning model girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
The singers, both Grammy winners, raised eyebrows in March in collaborating on Rihanna's Birthday Cake remix, in which Chris sang the line, "Girl I wanna f*ck you right now, been a long time, I've been missing your body."
“Everyone in the business assumes she and Chris are getting back together, and it is only a matter of time before they’ll be more public about it," the insider told the Post. "It’s like she is testing the water -- first they work on music together, then they hang out in a friendly way, so the public won’t be completely shocked when they step out together publicly."
A source told the paper that Rihanna's camp is strategizing ways around a possible reunion, which could have serious career ramifications for the pop princess if the public looks down on her going back to the man who once beat her.
“Everyone agrees they can’t control Rihanna and can’t stop her seeing Chris, no matter how much they fear the negative public reaction will be," the source said. "It means she probably won’t release another album this year, for fear of a backlash.”
