Lindsay Lohan In Car Accident, Taken To The Hospital

UPDATE: Lohan's rep, Steve Honig has just released a statement: "Liindsay was involved in an automobile accident today on her way to the set. She was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution. She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident."

Lindsay Lohan was involved in a bad car accident on Friday afternoon while driving along the Pacific Coast Highway, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

The Mean Girls starlet was in her black Porsche when it collided with a big-rig truck.

Lindsay, 25, was taken to the hospital.

Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan, spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com and told us, "Thank God she is okay. She may be bruised up, but she is so dedicated to proving herself on this project Dick and Liz that she is on her way back to work!"
