It has been almost three years since NFL quarterback Steve McNair was shot to death by his mistress in a shocking murder-suicide, and the former Titans player’s Nashville, Tennessee home is now up for sale.
The mansion was first listed just weeks after the MVP’s death by his widow Mechelle, and since then the price has been dropped by over a million dollars to $1,995,000, reported Zillow.com.
The massive 9-bedroom, 9.5-bathroom and 14,000-square-foot house still has many of the distinctive touches that McNair added to it, including his giant portrait in the entertainment room overlooking the stadium seating and huge flat-screen TV, a second painting hung above the pool table, trophy cabinets full of his sporting achievements, and mounted commemorative helmets.
Upstairs is a grown man’s playroom, with air hockey, video games, foosball, shelves of footballs and framed jerseys.
"Air McNair" was shot by girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, on July 4, 2009, while he slept on the couch in the condo that he rented for her, she then turned the gun on herself.
