Jessica Simpson Gives Birth, Welcome Baby Maxwell!

Jessica Simpson has finally given birth!
The first-time-mother and her fiance Eric Johnson became proud new parents to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on Tuesday morning.
Maxwell weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 13 ounces and both Jessica and Eric's family were there to join in their celebration.

"Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl," Jessica wrote on her official website. "We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received.
"This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!"
Baby Maxwell's middle name hails from Jessica's mother's maiden name — Drew.
Jessica, 31, and Eric, 32, have been engaged since November 2010 and are planning to wed sometime after the birth of their child.
