Peter Facinelli Files For Divorce From Jennie Garth

Twilight star, Peter Facinelli has formally filed for divorce from Beverly Hills 90210 alum, Jennie Garth, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the couple announced their spit earlier this month, amid reports that Facinelli had cheated on his wife of 11 years.

Facinelli cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, and he is seeking joint custody of their three children. Garth filed a response to the divorce petition, and is requesting that her name be legally changed back to Garth. Garth agrees to Facinelli's request for joint custody of their kids.

The Twilight star walked the red carpet at The Hunger Games premiere last Monday night with their oldest daughter, Luca. They also have two other daughters, Lola and Fiona, together.

"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children," they said in a statement. "We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time."
