Nick Lachey and his pregnant wife  Vanessa Lachey were spotted lapping up some ice cream on their way to the airport in Sydney, Australia.

Maybe it’s because Vanessa’s eating for two, but Nick had one of the frosty treats in each hand!

The first-time parents-to-be were in Sydney for the opening of the city’s newest nightlife venue - Marquee - The Star, Sydney.

Over 1000 party-goers were there, including Paris Hilton, will.i.am, Slash, Joe Jonas, Kellan Lutz, Minka Kelly and Nick’s former sister-in-law Ashlee Simpson.

Jessica Simpson’s ex-husband announced that he and Vanessa were expecting earlier this month, during a guest-hosting stint on Live with Kelly.  Lachey is in the running to be her new permanent co-host.
