They say that owners look like their pets, but what about residents looking like their apartments?
We couldn’t think of a more fitting home for flawlessly dressed and smooth talking CNN anchor Anderson Cooper than this beautiful modern penthouse apartment.
Located in a former manufacturing space completely transformed into a sleek bachelor pad in Manhattan’s garment district, the two-bedroom and two-bathroom penthouse has been described by realtors as boasting “unparalleled style and sophistication,” reported Zillow.com.
Unfortunately, this perfect pairing will soon be over as Anderson has listed his home for sale at an asking price of $3.75 million, so that he can spend more time in his equally fabulous loft in a converted firehouse in the West Village that he bought for $4.3 million in 2010.
The host’s soon-to-be vacant real estate is filled with custom touches such as a Lustron lighting system and multi-room surround sound to aged Chambord oak floors and etched glass detailing, in 3,100 square feet of living space, while a landscaped deck with gas grill adds an additional 1,700 square feet.
The first floor of the two-story abode holds the master suite and luxurious bathroom with limestone and teak flooring, a claw-foot soaking tub and large shower.
Up a floating staircase, the gourmet kitchen leads to an open dining area and living room with wood-burning fireplaces and views of downtown Manhattan.
From the classy Cooper, we’d expect nothing less!
