Rihanna steamed up the red carpet of the 2012 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, wearing a dangerously sexy Giorgio Armani gown and dripping in Neil Lane bling – but what you may not know, is that her manicure featured 24-karat gold polish and was worth a whopping $5,000!
Rihanna’s manicurist Kimmie Kyees painted her nails in Red Carpet Manicure’s Amor 24 gel polish, which retails for $5,000 a bottle! For an extra touch of bling, she added a dollar sign chart to her pinkie finger.
RadarOnline.com learned all about the new beauty trend at the Distinctive Assets Official Talent Gift Lounge presented by Lasio, where the new at-home gel system brand presented the “Celebrity Gold” manicure to all celebs in attendance.
Red Carpet Manicure is a new at-home gel nail system, a more pocket friendly alternative to the professional service available at most nail salons. The starter kit, which retails for $59.99, contains all the tools you need to get a manicure that will last a few weeks. The company also offers 54 different shades for $9.99 per bottle, but if you want RiRi’s shade you will obviously have to plop down a lot more dough!
Other celebs who rocked Red Carpet Manicures on Sunday night included Kate Beckinsale and Joy Williams.
