Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covergirl Kate Upton likes to eat more than your average model.
So much so that the 5-foot-10 Michigan-born stunner nearly devoured herself out of the issue entirely when she piled on the pounds last summer, an insider tells the NY Post.
“She’s not your typical model,” the insider said. “She will eat anything. She’s not assuming. She’s not into herself. She’s not very affected.”

With that in mind, the ambitious teen quickly took to the gym and a personal trainer.
“I have to give credit to my trainer: He definitely kept me motivated in staying in shape ... I’ve always been naturally curvy, but of course I had to get used to being in the public eye,” Upton said, adding that when it comes to eating, she never deprives herself. “If I’m craving something once a week, then I’ll go have it ... ice cream or whatever, I just eat the foods I like.”
