Jeffrey Katzenberg is unloading the “modest” Beverly Hills home he has owned since 1985 and moving on up into a $35 million mansion, and his former digs can be yours for an asking price of $9.4 million!
The DreamWorks Animation CEO listed his 10,000 square foot “starter home” on the market this week – and RadarOnline.com has all the photos and details about the sprawling mansion, courtesy of our friends at Realestalker.com.
The 5-bedroom estate, which is located in the flatlands of Beverly Hills in the coveted 90210 zip code, boasts such luxuries as a chef’s kitchen, professional theater with wet bar, gym, library with wet bar and French doors that lead to resort-like private grounds. It also features a pool and deck with manicured lawns, and a two-story guest house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and a cabana.
Apparently Katzenberg has an eye for an investment -- he purchased the pad brand new back in March 1985 for $2.685 million.

Famous neighbors include Larry King, who lives across the street in a $11.75 million home, Madonna, Simon Cowell and Full House actress Lori Loughlin.
Katzenberg plopped down $35 million on a 6.4 acre Trousdale Estates mansion in 2009, which he razed and has been rebuilding for the past 2 years.
