Zooey Deschanel Splits With Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard

It’s not only Kim feeling the cold November rain this week: New Girl beauty Zooey Deschanel and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard announced on Tuesday that they have separated.
"It was mutual and amicable," a source told US. "There was no third party involved."
Deschanel, 31, became engaged to Gibbard, 35, in December 2008 and married in September 2009. (He reportedly gave her a three-carat diamond and platinum Neil Lane ring when he proposed.)
Deschanel, in the past, has been romantically linked to actor/musician Jason Schwartzman and Maroon 5's Mickey Madden.
Deschanel stars on Fox's New Girl, which airs Tuesdays at 9/8c.
