It's been more than a year since sexy singer Katy Perry and funnyman Russell Brand exchanged vows, and on Friday's edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Firework singer says she wouldn't mind hearing the pitter patter of little feet.

"I would love to have children," the I Kissed A Girl singer told DeGeneres. "I think that’s one of the reasons you get married.

“Especially to the person that you marry. You think, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent. But, I’m not sure it’s yet. We’ll see, ya know."

Perry -- who married Brand October 23, 2010 in Jaipur, India -- said "if it doesn’t hurt the first time," she'll "keep popping" out children.

“It will hurt: I've heard that it hurts,” DeGeneres joked. “Word around town is it hurts!”
