Jennifer Aniston has been sizzling on the red carpet, schmoozing with other A-list stars and enjoying a PDA packed love fest with new beau Justin Theroux, but one place she hasn’t been is by her mother’s side.

Nancy Dow, Jen’s 75-year-old mom, had a stroke a few weeks ago, and while her daughter visited her in the hospital she was not with her when she was released.

In the photo a frail looking Dow is seen leaning on a cane as she walks out of a Los Angeles pharmacy as she recovers from her long hospital stay.

Jennifer’s mother gave the UK Daily Mail a brief “I’m ok,” when asked about her condition this week.

Since Dow’s stroke in September, which Jen’s rep told RadarOnline.com was a “private family matter," the actress has been in New York with Theroux and the couple were often spotted out and about in the city.

Jen and her mother were estranged for years, and she was not invited to her daughter’s 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt, but in 2009 the Friends star said they had improved their relationship.

“It's good. It's OK,” Jen said.  “Things are now fine between us. All of that is over, and we're in touch with one another. We speak, and it's all over.”
