Gloria Allred Representing New York Assistant Attorney General Accused of Being Paid
Oct. 16 2011, Published 9:00 a.m. ET
Famed civil rights attorney, Gloria Allred, will be holding a news conference in New York City tomorrow with her client, Alisha Smith, a New York State Assistant Attorney General who was suspended from her job, after media reports circulated that she was a paid dominatrix.
Smith was allegedly placed on leave without pay before any investigation was initiated, or she had a chance to respond. The New York tabloid report claimed that Smith "spends her days toiling in securities fraud - and her nights moonlighting as a dominatrix...and that she performs at S & M events for pay."
