The First Lady is getting ready for her reality television debut!
Michelle Obama is set to guest star in an episode of the popular ABC show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which she will film in North Carolina on Thursday.
In the episode, which will air in October, Obama will help build a new boarding house for homeless female veterans outside Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville, according to the White House.
Her appearance on the show is part of the Joining Forces initiative she started with Vice President Joe Biden’s wife Jill, which offers support and recognition to military vets and their families.
The crew will be expanding the Steps-N-Stages Jubilee House, adding a new greenhouse and children’s playhouse to the center, in order to accommodate
more women and children.
